Role A Story

In Room 25 we've been learning to understand the structure of a narrative by rolling a dice to write a story here's a example:  If you role number five you right about a handsome night.

                                       here's what I rolled:

Character:  A handsome night

Setting:  In a dark forest

Problem: was chased by a tornado

The clock struck 12 as the moon darkened with gloom and shadows, the air was jammed packed with nothing but gloomy mist and fog, you felt nothing but chill billow your feet.

Suddenly a handsome knight dashed through the forest like a hawk passing through the wind. As the night dashed through the wind he took back his words in regret of going to complete his quest to defeat his forceful enemy. On the outside he was courageous but in the inside he new he wasn't, but he had his chin up and continued on with his quest.

He past many dangerous including mythical creatures, he stop to catch his breath. He sat down on a rock and glared at a rather mysterious and unusual object that seemed grow be growing bigger and bigger every second he reached his arm to grab it but it transformed into a spinning tornado, it crept on twirling the courageous night had no idea what to do but it was already to late, the ground started to rumble as the wind was spinning in every direction and wouldn't stop the night gave up his mission and sprinted away in disbelief.

Maths, Maths and PE

It was Maths Week and we learnt all about BOD-MAS and BED-MAS . We learned about the order that we solve problems that have more than one operation (÷,  +, -, and ×).  Once we learned all about BOD-MAS we did a fun activity where you were in a group of 3 or 4 and there was one runner. The runner had to run the answer that their group got as a team. The runner had to run to the teacher who checked his or her answer and if  the group got it right then they had to run around the room to his or her group. But if they got the answer wrong they had to try again.

My garden planer

We've been learning about gardens in Garden to Table this term. We learnt in Garden to Table a website that you can use to plan a garden so we decided to design our own garden on garden planer. Its useful because you can plan your dream garden an gardens that you want to plan for the future. Anyways we used it to plan a garden for fun.
Here is the link if you want to give it a go :

Samoan Language week

Talofa lava

This week we have been learning about Samoan language. We learnt words like Tofa, nofo lalo , faafetai and much more. It was fun learning words in Samoan but it was even more fun playing Samoan games like soft ball called lape. It was very similar to soft ball but there was bases like in base ball and home runs too. The objective of the game was if you were in the fielders team you had to prevent the batters from getting a home run by touching them with the ball so they don't get a home run and then they swapped over when all of the them had a turn.

My Area and Perimeter Bedroom

This is my area and perimeter bedroom :

I enjoyed this because:
1. It helped me get better maths and we could choose what was in it.
2. It also was enjoyable because I got to design one of my dream bedrooms.
3. But I mainly enjoyed this because you got design it however I wanted to.
The Maths:
To find out the area ( the area is the inside of a object) of a shape or object you need to count the inside.

Animal Characteristics

In room 25 we learned about invertebrates and vertebrates. but we were mainly learning about describing characteristics of animals e.g the characteristics of a lion are big, brave and strong. It was fun because we learned a bit more about animals and had fun at the same time.
