My garden planer

We've been learning about gardens in Garden to Table this term. We learnt in Garden to Table a website that you can use to plan a garden so we decided to design our own garden on garden planer. Its useful because you can plan your dream garden an gardens that you want to plan for the future. Anyways we used it to plan a garden for fun.

Samoan Language week

Talofa lava

 This week we have been learning about Samoan language. We learnt words like Tofa, nofo lalo , faafetai and much more. It was fun learning words in Samoan but it was even more fun playing Samoan games like soft ball called lape. It was very similar to soft ball but there was bases like in base ball and home runs too. The objective of the game was if you were in the fielders team you had to prevent the batters from getting a home run by touching them with the ball so they don't get a home run and then they swapped over when all of the them had a turn.

My Area and Perimeter Bedroom

This is my area and perimeter bedroom : 

I enjoyed this because:  

1. It helped me get better maths and we could choose what was in it.

2. It also was enjoyable because I got to design one of my dream bedrooms. 

3. But I mainly enjoyed this because you got design it however I wanted to. 

   

The Maths: 

To find out the area ( the area is the inside of a object) of a shape or object you need to count the inside.

Animal Characteristics

In room 25 we learned about invertebrates and vertebrates. but we were mainly learning about describing characteristics of animals e.g the characteristics of a lion are big, brave and strong. It was fun because we learned a bit more about animals and had fun at the same time.
